MünchenerHyp began business activities in Spain at the end of March 2004 when it signed an agreement of cooperation with REALCIS, S.L., Madrid.

The Bank's main business emphasis is providing financial services to professional/institutional investors who wish to acquire office, retail commercial, logistics or hotel properties.

The Bank offers these clients investment financing packages with terms of one to ten years. The loan-to-value-ratio of the deals should not exceed 80% and they should have appropriate repayment structures in line with the borrower's creditworthiness and the property's secured cash flow.

The Bank is prepared to lend up to EUR 40 million per individual financing transaction. Based on its many years of experience in the international syndicated loan business MünchenerHyp has the know-how and contacts needed to make it an excellent partner for nationally and internationally financed property deals in Spain.

Office properties will be primarily financed in Madrid and Barcelona. Other property categories may be financed across Spain if the individual properties fulfil the usage conditions and other lending criteria.
