At the beginning of 2009 Münchener Hypothekenbank won the coveted “Covered Bond of the Year” for its 3-year Jumbo Public Pfandbrief from International Financing Review, an internationally renowned trade journal. The award was last won by a German Pfandbrief issuer in 2002.
