MünchenerHyp finances acquisition of Siemens headquarters in The Hague for Tristan Capital Partners fund
Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) provides EUR 64.6 million financing for the purchase of the Siemens headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands, for EPISO 6, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners, with local partner Timeless Investments.
The office building is located in the central business district of The Hague and has a lettable area of around 30,000 square meters with Siemens being the main tenant. The high-quality ESG accredited asset benefits from an energy label A with the buildings being either LEED Gold or LEED Platinum certified.
"With the financing of this high-quality office building, we broaden our partnership with Tristan Capital Partners. At the same time, we strengthen our market position in the Netherlands, our most important foreign market," says Nicole Jürgensen, Head of International Clients – Commercial Real Estate Financing at MünchenerHyp.
Kick Van der Wel, Executive Director at Tristan Capital Partners, added: “The acquisition of the Siemens’ headquarters presented an opportunity to capitalise on the strong office market in the area. The lack of available Grade A stock coupled with a constrained development pipeline made this an attractive proposition as occupiers continue a flight to quality. MünchenerHyp is a reliable partner at our side, who supports us in realising such attractive projects, also internationally.”
