MünchenerHyp finances Main Airport Center in Frankfurt
Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) is providing a long- term loan of € 122.4 million to finance the purchase of the Main Airport Center (MAC) in Frankfurt am Main. The Bank is acting as the sole underwriter, lender, and agent for CapitaLand, one of the biggest property firms in Asia and their Singapore-listed REIT, CapitaLand Commercial Trust.
The MAC is in close vicinity to the Rhine-Main Airport. The building’s 60,000 square metres and the parking garage with more than 1,400 car parking spaces are let on a long-term basis to mainly business consultancy, IT, media and telecommunications, as well as travel and hospitality related tenants.
