Ulrich Scheer to be MünchenerHyp’s new General Executive Manager
Münchener Hypothekenbank eG (MünchenerHyp) announced today that it has appointed Ulrich Scheer (52) as General Executive Manager effective 1 September 2020. His many years of extensive IT expertise and experience, in particular, will strengthen the management team of the property Bank, which operates as a cooperative. Following 17 years at BayernLB he joined HSH Nordbank in 2013 where he was Global Head of IT. Following a preparatory period, and after receiving appropriate approvals from the supervisory authorities, the Supervisory Board intends to appoint Ulrich Scheer as a member of MünchenerHyp’s Board of Management.
“We are pleased that with Mr. Scheer MünchenerHyp has gained a proven expert for the special challenges posed by banking IT”, said Dr Louis Hagen, the Chairman of the Board of Management of MünchenerHyp.
The current members of MünchenerHyp's Board of Management are Dr Louis Hagen (Chairman) and Dr Holger Horn.
